We purchased the  former Bank building and have converted it to office space, retail shops, a (drive-thru) coffee shop, and the entire lower level is the new home to Door County Yoga & Massage. Class descriptions

VINYASA yoga connects movement with breath. The continuous flow between postures builds heat in the body. This class is for strength and flexibility.

HATHA yoga focuses on individual postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama). This class is for all levels

BARRE is a strength and endurance class. Some aerobics and dance movement is incorporated.

JAZZERCISE is an aerobic class for building strength and vitality. Upbeat music and a playful atmosphere

Mommy-Me-Yoga-Poses.jpg
Mommy & Me: Weds 1-2pm
This Class is for new moms and their babies (under 1 yr) to help mom with her postpartum recovery and a fun way to connect with baby and other mothers. We will focus on building core strength and pelvic floor recovery. Also a light-hearted environment and a private area for nursing is available if you need to take a break. Bring a blanket or carrier for your baby.

Mondays 9:30-11am  
Gentle & Restorative 90 Min Flow 
This practice is about giving your mind and body the space to let go and move stagnant energies, allowing for the activation of your soul. Practice will start with a 15 minute meditation, followed by a gentle 60 minute flow that may include, but not limited to, both seated and standing postures. We will finish our practice with a closing meditation and a 10 minute savasana.

Jazzercise Saturdays and Mondays 8am

Jazzercise Dance Mixx is our signature class format that will leave you energized for hours. Set to your favorite top hits, this full-body workout combines 40 minutes of high intensity, dance-based cardio with 20 minutes of strength training and stretching. Art of Movement  Tuesdays 5:30pm - Starts Nov 2nd

This contemporary modern inspired movement class will explore strategies for bodies to expand their ease of motion through the use of release technique and phrase work. Evolving from the floor, class transitions into classically inspired, thoughtful contemporary modern technique. Introduced movement sequences culminate into a larger phrase explored at class finish. Kelly’s class often integrates improvisation and encourages the class to express their own creative voice through composition. 

 

Bio-

Kelly Anderson is the Artistic Director of the Chicago-based Kelly Anderson Dance Theatre, a contemporary modern dance company inspired by theater and comedy.  Her choreography has been commissioned and performed in Chicago, NYC, Milwaukee, WI, Portland, OR Detroit, MI and Minneapolis, MN. She is a former company member of NYC's Gerald Casel Dance (now residing in San Francisco), Portland's bobbevy and the Milwaukee companies of Danceworks, Wild Space, Foothold and Your Mother Dances.

FAQs

What do I bring? Wear something comfortable and stretchy. We have mats to borrow for free. Or bring your own. We have private mat storage if you'd like to keep it here.

Do I have to be flexible to do yoga?? Absolutely NOT! Yoga is an individual experience that meets you exactly where you are, and every day is different. This is a space of non-judgement. We will work with you to modify postures as needed. You'll be amazed how fast you improve!

Can my friend or spouse use my punch card? Sure. But the card must be present.

What about that class package I bought 3 years ago? The old MINDBODY software went down with the Covid ship... We have no record of your old packages so we are starting fresh with the new space.
