Yoga Basics
These classes will explore and expand upon the fundamentals of various yoga postures that build strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Attention to proper alignment and foundational aspects will be emphasized with the goal of deepening the student’s awareness and ability in relation to breathwork (pranayama) and how it relates to movement.
Wednesday 8:30 – 9:45 a.m.
Thursday 9:00 – 10:15 a.m.
Friday 8:30 – 9:45 a.m.
Saturday 9:00 – 10:15 a.m.
Beginning Level Series
Sign-up/registration required – 1st four Thursdays of each month – $40 for series
Beginning Level
Series will focus on a number of basic postures that address most of the human form, particularly the common tender and stiff spots. Beginning breath work and the Sun Salutation sequence will be explored, but the Sun Salutation series of movements will be broken down into their component parts so that students move gently towards the needed flexibility and strength.
Thursdays 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Private Sessions and Gift Certificates
Private sessions are available at $55.00/hour. Gift certificates are available in any amount.

New students are always welcome. Levels of experience are suggested but are not required as yoga is intrinsically an adaptive environment. Please wear comfortable and layered clothing and try to refrain from eating a substantial meal for at least three hours before class. A small snack an hour before class is appropriate.
Summer class numbers and times will reflect the season. Schedule will be posted in the spring.
